Sunglasses by Oakley

Oakley sunglasses are the brainchild of a “mad scientist” Jim Jannard—a native to Alhambra, California, who in 1975 invented a motorbike handgrip.

Shortly after Jim invented a goggle that was brought to the market as the Oakley O/20 Goggle. Four years later he introduced a new brand of sunglasses to the market called Oakley Eyeshades, which were adored by the renowned Greg Lemond of Tour de France.

Interestingly, Jim named the company Oakley after his English Setter, Oakley Anne.

Now Oakley Sunglasses have earned the reputation of high performance, cutting edge technology and contemporary fashion.

Oakley Sunglasses employs High Definition Optics (HDO) in the construction of each pair of sunglasses, which ensures superior protection and unrivalled clarity.
